Navy Blue Heavyweight Crewneck Sweatshirt

I ordered this for my nephew who is 6' 3" tall and typically wears a 2x. We ordered a 2x in this sweatshirt and it fits as expected. The material is really heavyweight while at the same time not being thick on the inside. I took a close up photo of the inside so you can see the finish- which is not fuzzy or overly soft.
The blue color is really nice and the construction/sewing is well done. The underside of the tag is printed upside down, but this does not impact anything and it can still be read just fine. Overall a nice, solid color sweatshirt that should last for a long time due to the weight of the material.

I picked up this 550GSM heavyweight crewneck, and it’s quickly become one of my go‑to layers. The fit is exactly what you expect from an oversized sweatshirt—roomy without feeling sloppy—and the premium cotton has a solid, durable feel right out of the package.
What really stands out is the warmth. This thing keeps me comfortable even on colder mornings, and it doesn’t get that thin, stretched‑out look after wearing it a few times. The stitching is clean, the fabric feels high‑quality, and it holds its shape well.
If you want a sweatshirt that actually feels heavyweight and not just advertised that way, this one delivers. Fits great, keeps me warm, and feels like it’ll last a long time.

The terry cotton fabric feels very sturdy and well made, and the stitching is beautifully done. The overall quality of the garment is excellent. However, I usually wear a size M, and the shoulder area felt a bit wide on me, so the fit didn’t fall as nicely as I had hoped.
The fabric is high quality, doesn’t pill easily, and feels like something I’ll be able to wear for a long time. Overall, it’s a well-made piece despite the fit not being ideal for my body.

They were not kidding about it being oversized; the style is not for everyone, so please, please check the pictures before purchasing. I think it looks a little awkward looks-wise, but it is super comfy and I love the heavyweight part of it.

The material is fantastic. There's a density to it that really sells the "heavyweight" aspect. The interior is not the fluff that a lot of sweatershirts have. In fact you can see the knit inside it.

Overall, this seems like a dependable piece of outerwear. Nothing flashy, but warm without going into excess.

The sweatshirt looks good in photos, but in person it feels a bit pricey for what you get. The material is cotton, but it’s quite stiff and doesn’t have that soft, broken-in feel I expected from a heavyweight crewneck. It’s wearable and warm, just not as comfortable or premium-feeling as the price suggests.

This is a heavy weight crew neck style sweater. Perfect for winter. The color is a rich, dark navy. The length is perfect and I'd consider it true to size, albeit a modern fit (not quite slim not quite a regular fit). Stitching is top notch, no piling when washing, but a tonne of lint in the dryer (expected that). I'm happy with this and expect a lot of use out of it.

If your idea of a Saturday night is dancing with glow sticks in the middle of a forest while wearing Oakley sunglasses, this sweatshirt is probably for you. If you pick clothing purely based on how long it’s going to last this sweatshirt is probably for you. If you know DJ Tiësto‘s full legal name, this sweatshirt is probably for you.

I am none of these people.

I totally get the vibe though. It’s heavy weight. It’s 100% cotton. It’s fitted and boxy all at the same time. When I hear French terry, I hear soft. This thing is tough and not at all soft. But it would probably last you through an asteroid hitting the Earth. So again I get it. There’s a time and place for it for sure.

I also noticed that the description says that it is made in the US or imported, which is good when you consider that yes the thing had to have been made somewhere and you would hope it would come from one of those two locations. So at the risk of spoiling the mystery it’s Vietnam.

The material feels thick and solid but still has a soft touch on skin. I ordered size Small and the fit is quite relaxed (a bit oversized like it says), so it's comfy without being baggy. The cuffs and collar hold their shape well after wearing. Good choice if you're into simple, clean look. No flashy logo, just plain and classic. Worth trying if you want a heavier shirt for fall or winter season.

They're not kidding when they describe this sweatshirt as 'Heavyweight' and 'Oversized'. Very thick materiel. I'm 5'8" and 170lb and the medium almost swims on me. Seems like it would be very appropriate as a women's shirt over a pair of tights or leggings as, on me, the bottom hem when pulled down comes to mid-thigh.
I found it slightly scratchy as is, but worn over a base layer feels fine and would only enhance it's cold-weather use.

Heavyweight for sure. Not soft at all, think like near carhartt material. I'm more bothered ar the price point to be honest. This should be under 15 to maybe 20 dollars max.

This is not your average sweatshirt. I have several sweatsuits, shirt & pants from this company, and all of them have the same attention to detail. The material is a very thick, high quality material that reminds me of the products made by 🚗❤️. The material is a thick weave that will hold up to much tough wear. This would be a good set for a man to wear on a Saturday doing heavy jobs around the house, but still wanting to be warm & protected. Admittedly, this material is not as soft as other common brand name sweatshirt manufacturers, like the ones who make men’s underwear. My son turned up his nose at these clothes because he wants plush & soft. But for someone looking for a high quality set that will stand up to tough wear & lots of washing as he GETS WORK DONE, this is the company for you!

This sweatshirt is well made, as are all products I have from this company. The seams are sewn well and are well surged. The fit is oversized, as it is meant to fit baggy. Although my son turned up his nose to this, I consider it to be soft (just not the buttery soft that he demands), and comfortable for daily wear. This would make a great outer layer for working out in the yard in the Fall or Spring.

I ordered the visible lime green. It is not as vivid a color as a construction or safety sweatshirt, made for being seen. The color is more muted than that. But the color still definitely allows one to stand out.

Admittedly I have not washed the product yet, but I have reason to believe this product will wash well, as the company who made this gave great attention to detail, and has created a product that is meant to wear well & stand up to hard use.

The price point for this sweatshirt is higher than for a loungewear sweatshirt. But you get what you pay for. This is a work shirt & higher quality, better materials, and better design cost more. I find the price to be very fair for what one receives. This article of clothing serves a specific purpose beyond loungewear, and is priced accordingly.

I love the color of this sweatshirt and it definitely is true to its name HEAVY WEIGHT... It is actually a heavy weighted material for it to only be a medium... This a great sweaatshirt that is perfect for a comfy cozy day out without too much outerwear...

I think if this was a less expensive item - I'd be less picky about it. It would help if instead of describing it as "over-sized" some kind of size chart was included in the detailed information. I ordered XL knowing that I had a couple people who it MIGHT fit - depending on the size turned out to be. (XXL - XL and L people - in assorted heights) Luckily the L guy is also a broad shouldered 6'2". He's our lucky winner!

I LIKE the all cotton pretty stiff body of this shirt. It's dense without being very heavy and has only a little stretch. ALMOST feels like my heaviest denim jeans - just a LITTLE BIT - thicker, lighter-weight and softer, than denim - with that little hint of stretch. If handled properly it will probably not get rumpled looking for a long time - but stay crisp and new looking instead.

There's enough spandex (5%) added JUST to the cuffs - (collar, sleeve ends and waist) - to make THEM MUCH more stretchy than the body of the shirt.

This specific navy color does remind me of vintage navy sweatshirts ... in my closet! There's just a hint of purple overtone to it. NO ONE would CALL it purple - it's just the quality of the navy that it is. NOT slightly blackish or greenish tone - slightly purpleish tone.

If all of that ^^^ is TMI ...
The WAY this seems to be "Over-sized" (to me) is, there's MORE room for muscled upper body - upper arms, chest & neck - and a LITTLE longer body length than typical sweatshirts have. If you have hips - this is likely not the fit you're looking for. (5' 2" XL female who tried it on says "it makes me look like a meatball!") OK - CUE that tall thin guy!

I am NOT afraid of taking care of clothes with some special instructions - but it's not something you usually expect from a sweatshirt - so I'll quote the care instructions on the tag ...
"Machine wash in cold with like colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat or dry flat"

I'll add that I will personally also wash it inside out - and then probably line dry instead of waiting for the dry flat technique. (Sometimes I'll START drying flat - If item comes out of spin cycle still to heavy and wet to hang "safely" - then when it's PARTLY dry - let it finish drying on the line. (MUCH FASTER!)

It's likely they're trying to delay fading of the body of shirt for as long as possible - through as many washes as possible. There's a good chance that the cuffs will not fade as much as the body will, with their spandex in the mix, and the body being ALL cotton. HEY! - ALL of us change our look over time ... that might just add more character!

I love how simple it is—easy to throw on and look good.
