I’m absolutely LOVING these sweat pants. The seams on them are in the perfect spot to look very flattering. They are cozy and very comfortable. And the drawstring is on the inside which is really cool. Also good placement of pockets. All in all I’m very pleased
I find these Bomme heavyweight sweatpants to be well made.
They are definitely heavier than all my other sweatpants, aside from maybe the fleece-lined pair I have. They are put together well and will likely last a long time. The fit is good with an elastic waist and leg cuffs with a drawstring to snug them up. They aren't the softest pair I have but they aren't scratchy or abrasive either. They are a little long on me, but considering I am short that is expected. They seem more like relaxed fit than truly baggy but others may see them differently. I walked the neighborhood for about 30 minutes while it was 31 degrees and felt fine in them.
They may be a bit overpriced but are otherwise good sweats.
Heavier and thicker material, but not the softest. Not quite as nice as my “floofy” super comfy sweats, but they are definitely a good heavy quality. These are not quite as rough as the Bomme hoodie I received earlier, so that is nice. These fit is overall fairly decent with one exception. The cut on the back side is shorter than I like. When reaching down to pick things up they have me doing an instant “plumber under the sink” impression. I wish the length of the seam through the crotch area was longer. Other than that the legs are a good length and the waist fits well. Has a good waistband. Fairly comfy overall but not quite the “perfect pair” for me. Average size male, 5’10” and 220lbs with the large size sweats. For the price I’d want these to be perfect as they are a bit on the higher end of the price level for basic sweats.
Sturdy 100% cotton sweatpants in optional colors. I'm not sure I would call them baggy, "loose-fit" might be a better term. I ordered Large and the fit is good for someone of medium height. They are well constructed, warm, definitely thicker fabric than most sweatpants, with good stitching. They have an elastic waistband with tie-strings on the inside, gathered cuffs, and inset fabric in the knee joints. Four pockets (two on the side and two on the back). Comfortable, good for winter season indoors, fall season outdoors, and might work for winter outdoors as well (with longjohns) if it's not too wet.
Washable (they're cotton, they might shrink slightly on the first wash). They feel like they will last.
Wow really great quality material sweatpants. My husband love them. They are definitely heavy, warm and comfortable. Size was perfect too.
This is a really well-made pair of heavy-duty sweatpants made of 100% cotton. I love the drawstring, pockets and the general feel of wearing them around the house during these colder days -- and even more for for my daily hike in the hills as the sun is rising! They are fairly soft, the fabric quite thick, and I expect to use them for years!
This is not your average pair of sweatpanst. I have several sweatsuits, shirt & pants from this company, and all of them have the same attention to detail. The material is a very thick, high quality material that reminds me of the products made by 🚗❤️. The material is a thick weave that will hold up to much tough wear. This would be a good set for a man to wear on a Saturday doing heavy jobs around the house, but still wanting to be warm & protected. Admittedly, this material is not as soft as other common brand name sweatshirt manufacturers, like the ones who make men’s underwear. My son turned up his nose at these clothes because he wants plush & soft. But for someone looking for a high quality set that will stand up to tough wear & lots of washing as he GETS WORK DONE, this is the company for you!
These sweatpants are well made, as are all products I have from this company. The seams are sewn well and are well surged. The fit is oversized, as it is meant to fit baggy. Although my son turned up his nose to this, I consider it to be soft (just not the buttery soft that he demands), and comfortable for daily wear.
Admittedly I have not washed the product yet, but I have reason to believe this product will wash well, as the company who made this gave great attention to detail, and has created a product that is meant to wear well & stand up to hard use.
The price point for these sweatpants is higher than for a loungewear sweatsuit. But you get what you pay for. These are work pants & higher quality, better materials, and better design cost more. I find the price to be very fair for what one receives. This article of clothing serves a specific purpose beyond loungewear, and is priced accordingly. One is not likely to wear a hole in the knee from crouching on the driveway, crawling under a car. This is a pair of pants that stand up to WORK.
Wow.. these are definitely heavyweight pants! I was very surprised when these arrived. I would actually say that this is more like a jeans and sweatpants hybrid material. These are definitely made for cold weather, and they really feel like they will last for a very long time. I would even go as far as to say that these are comparable to high-end luxury brands. They are loose fit. I normally wear a small, but this small fits more like a medium or a large. I'm also very short, so they were a bit long on me. I normally have that issue because of being so short. These will definitely keep me warm this winter. Even though I'm in Northwest Florida, we still get pretty cold weather and last year we actually got snow. These will be perfect to wear on the coldest days of the year. The quality is great, and I highly recommend them.
Calling these sweatpants is really not an accurate description. They are heavyweight cotton pants, but they are not soft or fleeced. They are comfortable, but definitely oversized. I usually wear a 34" or 35" waist and 30 length. The Large size is too baggy and they are about a 34" length. The length shrunk a little after washing, but they are still very long. I should have ordered a Medium. I'm not sure how to characterize these. They are good for lounging, but I would not wear them out and about. I've worn them under snow pants for shoveling and hiking in the recent snow, and they work well. Certainly better than regular sweatpants or athletic warmup pants. That seems like a niche use case and not a great value, though.
These are incredible sweatpants. I like mine a bit oversized and they are just right. Super well made and astoundingly well priced for something that feels this premium!! Buying another pair
Instant new favorite sweatshirt, it feels like something you’d get from a premium streetwear brand. The weight is substantial and cozy without being stiff, and the interior fleece is incredibly soft. The structure keeps its shape after washing, and the hood is thick and oversized in the best way. It has that elevated, clean look that works for errands, lounging, or travel. Sizing is true, but slightly relaxed, giving that effortless, comfy fit. If you like high-quality basics, this hoodie is worth every penny.
Nice quality, heavy and fits great! Love how warm it is.
I needed a good outerwear hoodie, so I ordered this Bomme Sport Heavyweight 550GSM Oversized Hoodie. The fabric is rugged, there is no fuzziness inside, and it is well-made with durable stitching. It does not have a string in the neck to pull closed, but instead has a snap, which works well, but for some may feel a little restrictive. I love it. You definitely need to wear a layer under it if you are looking for it to keep you warm, but with a sweater underneath, I was walking comfortably in 35F. I have ordered the matching sweatpants and hoodless sweatshirt. This hoodie is now my go-to for traveling to/from the gym in the winter weather.
Really nice hoodie. Material is thick. The interior isn't fleece softness, but the fabric is woven tightly and keeps out cold air very well. If you want a hoodie for cold weather, this is a good one for an outer layer while working outside.
This is definitely heavyweight. I got a medium and I'm not sure I would call it oversized. IMO
It is a great quality hoodie. Mine came with a hood, the picture in the ad did not show the hood. I would have preferred no hood-- again my preference - but then it wouldn't be a hoodie! HA!
Anyway, I have never spent this kind of money for a jacket, this one is worth it. It's very well made and I'm pretty sure it will keep you beyond warm in the colder parts of the country. I'll be saving mine for the trips to the mountains when there is snow.
I'm very happy with the quality of this hoodie. The 550GSM Cotton French Terry is truly heavyweight and the stitching is excellent.
I love the unique detail: the hood adjustment uses snaps instead of a drawstring, which looks clean and is practical.
My only issue is the fit. I bought a size M, but the shoulders run very wide, making the overall fit slightly too oversized for my taste. Keep that in mind when ordering!
What I was most surprised by is that it's NOT soft on the inside, so there's not a cozy soft feeling when you put this on. However, it is heavyweight! It would serve as that great final layer if you were going outside for a fall or winter night. I do like the look of this sweatshirt. There's a snap towards the top that gives it a more finished look than other sweatshirts. Plus, black is a classic color. The unisex sizing means it fits large even though I got the small, which I like.
Heavy duty and looks so good on my husband. Upon arrival, it is a thick durable material, which is perfect for my husband who is a mechanic and is always wearing holes in his shirts fairly quickly. At this time, he has just worn it in the house in the evenings, but it seems it will withstand a lot!
When I think of hoodies, I think super soft fleece-like material, super cozy and comfy, lounge around your house kind of top. This hoodie is NOT what I expected. At all.
First off, it’s pretty heavy... I mean, like winter coat heavy. It’s not some super light weight shirt you grab “just in case” you may get cold later.
This is the hoodie you’d grab when you know you’ll be hiking most of the day, then settling in by a bon fire at night.
This is the hoodie you’d grab when you’ll be sitting in the bleachers on a cold bitter day watching the Superbowl game.
The inside and outside is not a super soft fleece material, like most hoodies. The description says it’s a “French terry” material. I’m not sure what that means, to be honest. I do know it’s comfortable (inside and out). It’s not a scratchy material. It doesn’t make me itch. It is soft to the touch and again it’s heavy.
The hood is a bit smaller than I would’ve liked. I like my hoods to be extra large (think along the lines of it somewhat covering your forehead). This hoodie does cover my whole head, but that’s about it. No extra fabric for forehead protection.
The pocket is surprisingly wide. I can actually fit both of my arms inside of it. I don’t believe I’ve ever had a hoodie with this big of a pocket before.
I ordered this as an Amazon Vine item (free for me, but I pay the taxes on it). I was intrigued to see what a $63 hoodie was like. I honestly was expecting your normal everyday hoodie. This was TRULY a pleasant surprise for me. I feel the price is pretty fair, considering the quality.
I am a lunchroom / playground supervisor and we go outside at 15 degrees and above. This is definitely something I will be grabbing on those cold days. (With a hat and gloves, of course!) And the pocket is large enough that I can easily store my super thick wool gloves in there.
The heavyweight material is no joke. It’s incredibly warm and feels like it will last forever. The quality is obvious the minute you pick it up. It definitely isn’t a soft and fuzzy hoodie though. The inside feels more like the canvas lining of a durable work coat, so if you want something plush this isn’t it. That said it’s still comfortable and perfect for cold autumn nights or camping in colder weather. It ended up being much warmer than I expected which was a really nice surprise. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a more expensive hoodie but in my opinion it’s worth the price.

Although my son turned up his nose to this, I consider it to be soft (just not the buttery soft that he demands), and comfortable for daily wear.
The hood comes not with a pull cord (which can get caught in tools and become a safety hazard), but with snaps to hold it in place.
Admittedly I have not washed the product yet, but I have reason to believe this product will wash well, as the company who made this gave great attention to detail, and has created a product that is meant to wear well & stand up to hard use.

Very heavy sweatshirt made of thick material. Sadly the material is not soft like most of the heavy hooded sweatshirts I own. That means this shirt will be relegated to yard work and that sort of thing. Definitely need to wear a shirt under this for it to be comfortable.
As for the fit, the large size fit well as far as width and length over the body. The arm length was super long. I am a typical build male just under 6’ and around 220 lbs. The arms were 2-3 inches too long for me. The hood design is ok but not much form; very much gives a “no neck” look to anyone who wears it. Can’t decide if I like or hate the snaps over a drawstring on the hood. I don’t love most strings that pull through, but this snap design isn’t quite right for me either.
If this hoodie as closer to half it’s listed price or if it had a better fit with softer material it would be a better buy.
Ok, bear with me- I actually think this hoodie is worth the price. First, lemme say I L O V E the color! This is kind of my favorite color anyway, so when I saw it as an option I knew I had to have it. This sweatshirt is *very* heavy. Like, when it says "heavyweight" in the title, it's not lying. I'd almost liken it to a sweater, like a knit sweater. It's very comfortable but also very structured. It's not a frumpy, cottony lounge sweatshirt, it's an "I'm going to wear this out as a purposeful outfit" kind of sweatshirt. I'm just so impressed. I'm not familiar with this brand really (or, I guess it's more of a brand that brands use?), but I'm really pleased with what I got. I strongly recommend as a nice hoodie. Love it.
It’s a nice hoodie. It is made of good materials that don’t feel itchy or aggravating. It feels good in a non-fluff kinda way. Heavyweight is an accurate description. You can actually feel the weight but not in a bad way. It keeps you insulated and fits well. I took away 1 ⭐️ bc as much as I like it I wasn’t actually purchasing it for me. My husband is a foreman so he’s outside a lot and it gets cold in the South… lol. But really we have our 20 & 30 degree days. And although it’s no ANSI 3 a little extra visibility never hurts. Unfortunately I was shipped a small not an XL. I can confidently say that a small will fit women who wear a size 8-10-maybe 12 pants. The hood doesn’t have a string but a little button. Not sold on functionality but it’s a little added flare you don’t see every day. I wish I could’ve given yall the rugged, blue collar review but your gna have to settle for this instead.
